About me...

I'll be the first to admit, this is probably the least exciting section of my whole site, eh? But, that being said, this is a nice thing to have so if any of you want to show you have proof that your friend Jeremy isn't some weird stalker sort of person. While this isn't conclusive proof, I do offer this: a picture of me with John Ripley. It's almost recent even! It's only a year or so old. So! If you know John Ripley, here's proof that I do too... From there you can always just go and ask him about this Canadian friend of his... you know, that best friend of his... (and by the way... please click on the picture and tell me what you think of this UBER-nifty code that makes my pictures do pretty things for me... I think it's amazing, but... I respect your right to be wrong...) Let me also say, that once i meet you, I'll add pictures of you and I together, that way I'm even less stalker-like. Yeah?

Okay, on to other things. I am a 23 year old male that lives in Edmonton Alberta. Sadly, most of my friends are not from my area, in fact... I'd say 90% of my friends live in the US of A. *sigh* do you have any idea how hard that is?? It's hard, take my word for it... I am currently an employee of Pace Oilfield Hauling Inc., out of Nisku AB. I've worked as a swamper there since just before Christmas. It's been an excellent job for hours as well as for paying the bills. It's been a constant challenge trying to learn more and stay on top of things. But more and more as I go out and work, I'm in the swing of things, and I have to worry less and less about my truck driver (who doubles as the crane operator) yelling at me... this is good (that he doesn't yell as much).

As for edumacation, I've finished my High School with ADLC (Alberta Distance Learning Center), and I've done an assortment of post-secondary schooling, though, I have yet to finish a degree (a big part of the working right now [mentioned above] is that I can pay off my student loans). I've done a year at NAIT for their Denturist Program. While it was a great program and it is a great profession, I do not believe that is where God would have me to be. I've done a year at Taylor University College & Seminary in their college branch towards a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Theology. My plan is to go back to school and finish this degree, though, to change it to something useful(er) such as a BA in English. (PS, I couldn't find any cheesy grad pictures of me, so I put a picture of Princess up instead... she's much cuter anyway! :D

Sexy hot pants, no? Wow... wasn't I a cutie? Believe me, it goes downhill from here... Though! I recently had a close friend tell me (after seeing pictures of me that my mother showed her *sigh*) that I wasn't as hideous growing up as I led her to believe. I believe she may have had beer goggles on (*gasp* Ikki! you're underage!) or, maybe she was hallucinating, but! It's interesting that the years where I thought I was the hardest to look at, someone actually thought I was attractive... Maybe I'm not as ugly as I let on?? hmmm... Anyway :) This close friend is currently in California... enjoying the hot sun, and probably going to meet a bunch of my friends there... I'm quite thoroughly jealous. But! Exciting news as well... and while I should put this up by his picture, I'm much too lazy... John is coming to Canada! And probably going to Taylor (my old school). Which! is just across the street from me! To say I'm excited is a huuuuge understatement! :)
